Identity and Representation
Visual representation and identity are indiscerptible connected as context specific socio-cultural phenomena. Individual persons and groups of people represent and express themselves through the organized application of sensory strategies and visual signifiers, such as fashion, speech, images, objects, movements, organization of space, and architectural construction, and any other designed product. Abstract perceptions are being realized by imagination or visualizing. If we look at design as a form of cultural production we can deceiver the ideas, intentions and values behind it, as well as understanding the makers’ or initiators’ intention with a particular design.
