Ghost City Zurich May 1st
Each year on May 1st Zurich hosts a battle between police forces and an undefined and heterogeneous group of protesters and rioters. For one day each year the city is transformed into an empty playing field.
Buildings are barricaded, windows are covered and all loose objects one can find on the street are removed. The urban scene is has been transformed into a ghost city, since people seem to escape any involvement with this annual ritual.
