Evert Ypma skypes on June 7 with students of the Academy of Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia about a 2008 research concerning national identity in the Netherlands.
Exploring Slovenian Identity
2011 is the 20th year of Slovenian Independence. In this project 18 students of visual communication and interior design from the Academy of Design in Ljubljana, explore issues of national identity. The project is run by Axel Vogelsang, lecturer and researcher at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Switzerland.
Evert Ypma contributes to the Slovenian Identity Project with a lecture about a project called, 'Living Constitution' (Leven(de) Grondwet). This is a research about identifications with the Dutch Constitution and an exploration to how collective identity can be fostered by story lines related to the Constitution.
